Krishna "The most perfect of the avatars" |
|||
Sister Nivedita wrote "The existence of Krishna , then, like that of Christ, he often told us in the general way he doubted. Buddha and Mohammed alone, amongst religious teachers, had been fortunate enough to have 'enemies as well as friends,’ so that their historical careers were beyond dispute. As for Krishna , he was the most shadowy of all. A, poet, a cowherd, a great ruler, a warrior, and a sage had all perhaps been merged in one beautiful figure, holding the Gita in his hand.
