(A notice of the Swami's departure from London) " At a large meeting of the Swami Vivekananda's friends and sympathisers held at the galleries of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, Piccadilly, London, on December 13th, 1896, the Chairman, E. T. Sturdy, Esq., was requested to present an address to the Swami on the motion of H. B. M. Buchanan, Esq, b.a., (Cantab.), seconded by Mrs. G. C. Ashton Johnson, and unanimously supported."
