Datta, assisted by several colleagues and Ayurdedic physicians one. Dr. Datta was one earliest practitioners of Allopathy in India to advocate research on and use of indigenous medicinal herbs for the treatment of diseases. A defect in the heart was detected. He was advised to desist from appearing in public as a lecturer.    28 Fri The Vedanta Society of New York was formally established through incorporation under the laws of the state of New York by Swami Abhedananda.
