Sarada Devi, accompanied by lady devotees, visited the new site of the Ramakrishna Order at Belur. In the afternoon she and her party, with Swamiji, Brahmananda and Saradananda returned to Calcutta.

In the evening, a meeting was held, [possibly Balaram Bose's house] attended by  householder-devotees to discuss opening Nivedita's school. Nivedita appealed to all to send their children to the school. The Swami arrived during her speech and encouraged the householders to send their daughters.

Kali Puja.

Sarada Devi came to 16 Bosepara Lane and performed the opening ceremony of Niveidta's school.  Swamiji, Brahmananda, Saradananda, Yogin-Ma and Golap-Ma were present.  Holy Mother gave a whispered blessing which was spoken aloud by Golap-Ma.  She prayed that the blessings of the Divine Mother might be upon the school, and the girls trained in to be ideal women.

Niveidta's school opened with a few girls of the neighborhood attending. 

Swamiji was present, accompanied by Brahmananda, Virajananda and Sureswarananda.
